It's no secret. We love our social workers. Working with them, we've encounter needs for all kinds of things. From boxers to backpacks, we've thoroughly enjoyed partnering with them to make a difference in the lives of these students and their families. Here's a need they've brought to us recently. Calculators! Students need a certain type of calculator to be able to do their math and science homework. Let's help them! These kids are the future of our country so let's set them up for success... Starting with problem 6 in chapter 12.

So one of the organizations we work with is Wellspring Living. They help in the rehabilitation of women and girls who have been sexually abused or trafficked in Georgia. We love what they do. One of the women they work with is a missionary and needs some help. She's a single mom and raising support for her efforts. She is in need of a washing machine. Let's help her out!

9 Twin mattresses, box springs, and framesHow's your comfy bed feel at night? We personally love ours, but recently found out about not one, but ELEVEN little precious ones sleeping on floors, couches, and even kitchen tables in our community. With our recent cold snap, we're hoping to get these children off the floors and into some nice warm beds. We're working with an Atlanta-area YMCA for this need. Here's what we're looking for:

• 2 Full mattresses, box springs, and frames
• Linens for all 11 beds

NEW NEED | North Atlanta: Potty Training Toilet

There comes a day in a toddler's life when they take the next step in their saga of life. Yes, they're now "toddling" ...but they're also learning to use a great alternative to their diaper when the need strikes. Indeed, we're talking about potty training. A pivotal moment in any person's life. If you don't master this, let's just say life will be extremely difficult. So, there are some critical tools in potty training that a family needs to help their little one along in the beauties of the bathroom. A "potty training toilet" makes this journey a little easier in that a tiny human can reach it instead of having to climb during an urgent situation. There's a family we've learned is in this process with their precious one and don't have the means to purchase said tool. Can you help them set their baby up for success?

 Through social workers, we've discovered a family in great need. In this family, the single mother has bone cancer. As you might imagine this has taken a huge toll on the family emotionally and financially. Her son has recently lost an incredible amount of weight. While this feat of becoming more healthy is definitely something to be celebrated, it does require a new wardrobe. For this family, building a new wardrobe is a daunting task. Let's help them out.
