NEW NEED | Microwave & AC Unit
If you've ever experienced a summer in Atlanta, you know how important having air conditioning is. In addition, have you ever wondered what life would be like without a microwave? Two of our team members went a good while without a microwave and realized just how much we take them for granted.
We normally don't post needs for things that aren't essential to daily life. We tossed the idea around for a little while and finally realized we just can't say no. The microwave and AC unit are for a guy named Larry. Larry was homeless last year. During that time, he was run over my a truck while sleeping in a parking lot. Once at the hospital, they discovered he had brain cancer. Due to the loss of a kidney, he also now lives with diabetes. Larry's had it rough. Through working with one of the non profits we love, Lazarus Ministries, Larry is back on his feet and in an apartment. That's an awesome success story in itself. To make his house a home, we'd love to help provide him with the microwave and an air conditioning unit. Will you help Larry?
