#beremedy day
September 28th our new friend and notable American “photographer to the stars and the suffering” gave us an amazing idea. The idea was to challenge our friends, followers, and everyone who caught drift, to be a part of a nationwide social movement likely to cause dramatic effects in both the local and national levels of our homes and revolutionize the way we use social media and technology.
See the need and be the remedy. That’s been our slogan since day one and it’s a pretty easy concept. We all know someone who needs a meal, shirt, refrigerator, etc. and you may not be able to help them, but just think..what if you shared that individual's need with your friends, family, and networks online thru your favorite resources such as Facebook, Twitter, direct email, or even mass text? (Huh..social media working for social good? Genius! We thought so too.)
We're confident that someone you know could help that need or someone they know can. Told ya it's easy.
So, today September 29th, we're naming it #beremedy Day! This is what beremedy does everyday in Atlanta, GA and today is your chance to lead the way in your city until we are nationwide (which will be soon). Keep your eyes and ears peeled for a local need around you. Share it and see what happens next! Can't hurt! At the end of the day you would’ve either succeeded in helping someone or at least tried to.
Next, we wanna hear about it! Our team here at beremedy loves a good story, especially those with happy endings. If you could, please share with us what need you found and what happened next after you shared that need through your online networks.
One last thing. We’d really appreciate if you shared what we’re doing here at beremedy to those closest to you and letting them know that we exist because of passionate, caring individuals like yourself. Let them know how easily they can get involved and can soon be helping needs themselves.
We can’t wait to hear your stories! Get out there and BE beremedy! (We know you guys will make us proud.)
See the need. Be the remedy.
